Adelaide Dog Co offer training for basic manners, through to more complex behavioural issues. Our focus is on teaching you as an owner how to effectively communicate with your dog.

1:1 Dog Consultations

Adelaide Dog Co can assist you with unwanted behaviours such as jumping, barking, biting, aggression and seperation anxiety. We will not only focus on training your dog but we will educate you in proper handling skills, being able to set boundaries and how to build a positive and engaging relationship with your dog in an easy to understand method.

For best results, we recommend a minimum of 2 sessions, including:

Session 1

  • Stepping up

  • Sit

  • Sit Step away

  • Boundaries – Place command

  • Addressing current behavioural issues

Session 2

  • Revise previous session and homework

  • Boundaries – back/front door

  • Loose Lead Walking

  • Auto Halt

  • Refining current behavioural issues

1:1 Puppy Consultations

Are you struggling for time and can’t make standard puppy school group classes? Or want learn at your own pace? Our 1:1 puppy consultations are the perfect solution for new puppy owners.

We provide personalised guidance on toilet training, basic commands and modifying nuisance puppy behaviour. Build a strong foundation for a well-behaved and happy puppy from the get-go with our Backyard Puppy School 3 session programme!

Backyard Puppy School

For dogs 8 weeks – 20 weeks
3 session programme
In these sessions your puppy will learn:

  • Toilet training

  • Crate training

  • Proper socialisation

  • Desensitisation

  • Boundary training - door ways & gates

  • Sit & step away

  • Down & step away

  • Introduction to clicker or marker training
