Level up your Doggy Day care with our
Dog Day School
Because life’s too short to have a dog that’s hard to handle.
Located in Strathalbyn, our Doggy Day School is a Members-only Doggy Day Care & Training venue, designed to promote and practise good behaviours, educate owners and care for dogs.
Doggy Day School is a great choice for owners looking for a consistent long term lifestyle program and care for your dog.
Our Doggy Day School program operates weekly on a Wednesday.
Dogs attend for a day of training, exercise and calm social activities. The day starts with 1:1 training for each dog, followed by place work and individual confidence building. The afternoon consists of social activities in a group environment where they learn to socialise calmly in a relaxed outdoor setting.
To become an Adelaide Dog Co, Doggy Day School member, each dog will do 1 trial day to ensure they are a suitable candidate for this exclusive group.
We do not take drop ins. All dogs attending this class will be on a weekly membership to ensure the dogs are confident, relaxed and stay consistent with both our handlers and the other dogs in our care. We are not your typical day care, we are here to teach and to help you and your dog thrive to live a better life together.

Calm confidence in their dog
-
Owners that are not committed
Owners wanting a ‘quick fix’
Owners wanting us to do all of the training for them. (We can do it when we are there, but not in between sessions)
Owners that think socialising means meeting and befriending every dog
Owners that don’t want a better behaved dog
-
Small, intentionally selected groups
Structured training sessions throughout the day - Mental and physical stimulation.
Calm, guided social exposure

Professional handling at all times
Training focuses on practical skills such as loose lead walking, focus & engagement, impulse control, place command and appropriate social behaviour.
